IGN reports that Halo 3 will be out and about in March 2007. A source at Microsoft dished that the Bungie title has been dated and will hopefully shift attention back to the 360 after the PS3/Revolution launches. Interestingly, the movie will be out in Summer 2007. So much for cross promotion.

Considering that this news comes so close to April Fool's, it's somewhat hard to take this for more than face value. Then again, E3 is right around the corner, and Microsoft needs some bombshells to drop. So, who knows? Just mark your calendars in pencil.
