Sony's spin doctor(s) told us yesterday that there will be a million consoles at their "global" launch and will continues to churn out PS3s at a rate of one mil per month. Sounds good, but just how possible is it. To avoid a MSoft-like 360 catastrophe, Sony's going to need to keep their promise.
