Namco Bandai Holdings has cut its 2006 profit forecast. Overall sales are projected to be 4 percent lower than previously thought. The cause? The company points to lower than expected Nintendo DS software sales for their titles. Namco Bandai also announced it will buyout all remaining Banpresto shares for 18.3 billion yen, making the game manufacturer a wholly owned subsidiary. Just hope they don't change their name to the wordy Namco Bandai Banpresto Holdings.
