Crytek's next PC offering, Crysis, courtesy of giant black publishing obelisk Electronic Arts, finally let Computer Gaming World have a little peek at the goods. That means screenshots of gorgeously rendered environments borne of the womb of CryENGINE2, CryTek's proprietary game engine, with lots of technical details to make your Sunday morning hangover just a bit more intense. Learn all about CryENGINE2's abillity to process caustics, spherical harmonics, photon-modeled sunrays, and soft particles for future playground debates and message board sissy-fights.
There's also some non-technical stuff in there for folks who just want to salivate over the idea of shootin' more Earth invading alien scum.
