IGN looks at the enormous amount of first-person shooters due out this year in "The FPSs of 2006."

today we bring to you our list of the upcoming shooters of 2006 whether they make us giggle like little girls or not. Some of these are expansions, some of them are fever dreams of the future, and others simply games we know are gunning for 2006.

The list includes 22 games, 22, talk about a bloated genre. Granted five of them are likely pipedreams for this year, but still that's way too many shooters in one year. I wonder which will actually be worth playing.
