Our GameStop insider also drops word that the Xbox 360s no longer have the DVD remote controls. Apparently, the next batch of machines doesn't contain them, leaving late adaptors out in the cold. Brrr. Our insider said that customers are calling and complaining that the current batch are missing the small DVD remotes. Some even think the box has been tampered with and the remote stolen!

We'll try to get in touch with Microsoft as to what's up with.
