Following up on a post we did last week. Another insider over at GameStop provided us with a scan of the email, detailing the 2006 Halo 3 release. We've been hearing from several of our sources and they all tell us the same thing. Even though the retailer continues to list an October ETA, the email clearly states we won't be seeing Master Chief until next year. Bill Gates has previously said it would be released against the PS3, but then said, "Even we don't know when that will come out." The GameStop email reads "Microsoft has stated that Halo 3 WILL NOT be released in 2006." (Boy, those GIANT CAPTIAL LETTES make it extra clear.) Earlier, Microsoft has refused to comment on this.
