Variety reports that director Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures has acquired the film rights to the PS2 game Siren. The company previously remade the J-horror Ju-on into The Grudge. The film adaptation of Siren will follow an American medical school student searching for her missing sister in Japan who finds herself trapped with an unspeakable evil that can no longer be contained.
