Over at Firing Squad, writer Jakub Wojnarowicz thinks Nintendo is positioned to make a run at Sony this generation. Wojanarowicz cites similarities between Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3's design (both are marketed as an all-inclusive media space for your living room) and in comparison the Revolution is committed to remaining a gaming machine. He cites the purported ease of development for the Revolution as a potential gateway for more small, independent games. The conclusion says "Nintendo is poised for a coup," but are they?
