As far as Japanese product magazines go, Trendy is really one of the best. They've been covering domestic consumer goods for approximately two decades and are a good barometer for what's happening in the marketplace. So when they mentioned pricing estimates for the PlayStation 3 and the Revolution, I sit up, take notice and post it on Kotaku. Trendy's ballpark forecast for the PS3 is from 40,000 yen (not 50,000 yen), and they think the Revolution will bank for around 20,000 yen. Educated guesstimate, or do they know something we don't?
