Never mind the fact that Nintendo has at least temporarily, nixed the rumor of a DS redesign, at least one site is claiming to have the inside scoop on the new DS.

According to the Japanese site, the new DS will be a bit smaller, mostly thinner. The LCD screens will be the same size. The site goes on to say that the device will look a bit like a GBA-SP on its side.

Personally, I can't believe that because it would mean that the screen layout would make playing some games impossible since some use the two screens as one giant screen.

Finally, the rumor mill has it that the new DS will have a clear cover, sorta like the Apple laptops.

I'm guess most of this is crap, but you never know.
