Chris Kohler, over at Wired's GameLife, discovered a very odd Japanese manga role-playing football game heading to the DS. I probably don't have to explain why it's odd, because you're already forming fun images in your head. But for the creatively impaired and those suffering from the need to know, the game strips away most of the strategy and hardcore realism of most American football games and fills the space with a bunch of screen touching and big-eyed player animation. You've got to hop over to GameLife for the lowdown on Eyeshield 21 and the link to some bizarre video of actual gameplay.
