Hwang Chang Gyu, a Samsung executive, says that Sony plans to ship 20 million PSPs worldwide in 2006, according to a Games Industry article. However, when Games Industry pressed Sony for an answer all they said was that they'd shipped 10 million units thus far and they gave no information about their plans for 2006. That many PSPs heading to stores worldwide might be a few million too many, unless Sony's software lineup for the PSP takes off this year—which it may. We'll just have to wait and see.
