Mr. Bicep zipped a coupla pics of third party 360 peripherals, saying that the rep from Mad Catz told him what we've heard for months now: only Microsoft can make "Wireless" Xbox 360 controllers. Furthermore, Xbox 360 third-party periph makers have to purchase a "Xenon chip." Without it, the peripherals will not be able to connect to or work with the 360. Wonder why Microsoft's under the impression that their box is Fort Knox. Wasn't it supposed to be difficult to open the screwless console? And how long did it take hackers to get inside the 360? This agreement might give Mad Catz the Msoft seal of approval, but it seems like they're gonna get rhino screwed in the long run.
