Call of Duty 2 is exactly what I expected it to be: More of the same, but still addictive.

The graphics are quite good and I found that the control layout was probably one of the best I've found amoung the 360's shooters. The only thing that hurts this title is that people who have played it on the PC won't find much new here.

The online play was typically smooth, but when it had problems, the problems were significant. Out of about a dozen online games, two of them had very significant lag issues. And when I say significant I'm talking dial-up modem significant. I was a little surprised that Live had these issues. I'm chalking it up to launch day jitters with hopes that the online play will smooth out as Microsoft works the kinks out of Live.

Has anyone else had Live issues with their 360?

I give Call of Duty 2 four out of five stars.
