BTW, Resident Evil is Best Game of the Year

Heh. I mentioned in my previous post that I attended the Spike TV Video Game Awards and I forgot to mention who won. Doh!

Resident Evil 4 won the Game of the Year. Now, it's a fine game and I'm sure it has a ton of fans among our readers, but it was up against World of Warcraft (not to mention God of War, Call of Duty 2 and F.E.A.R.). Am I the only one who thinks it should have been WoW? I mean, that title is so HUGE and I've lost so many of my friends to their WoW addiction in the past year that I'm left scratching my head. Anyone else out there who thinks the VGA picked the wrong game?
