Bungie is celebrating the one year anniversary of Halo 2 and decided to bust out some 360 news as way of thanks.
The feature story, which has plenty of other fun insider tidbits about the history of the game, starts by saying that Bungie worked closely with the 360 team to make sure both Halo and Halo 2 would work well on the new system.
Bungie goes on to clarify that the new version of the games is in fact the original version, just fancier looking. In other words, you won t have to buy anything to play, just pop your original game into the 360.
The biggest upgrade, thanks to spiffy new 360 tech, is the ability to play both games in wide screen at 720 p with full scene anti-aliasing. The end result, they say, are games that look like they are running on a PC.
The feach has a bunch of comparison screen shots so make sure you go check it out, and the Bungie crew promise more details on Friday.
