The Evil Avatar Forums had a developer chime in on the images (see picture) at the end of the Age of Empires III Collector's Edition Art Book. Whether those are planned titles, scrapped titles or just a way to tease the AoE fans, I'd assume we'll see sequels to AoE at some point during the future of mankind.
