Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima opened up to Hyper PlayStation magazine about the series' upcoming PS3 game. Kojima and his military advisor Mori Motosada have brought psychological warfare to the game by ditching unrealistic, cold blooded bad guy behavior. Players "freak out" the enemy with noises, putting baddies on edge and making them lose their cool.
The designer goes on to explain the meaning of the thematic tag, "No place to hide" (since Snake finds himself in a war-torn enemy complex, there is literally no place to hide) and why Snake looks so damn old (as Big Boss's clone, he ages quickly). Kojima, however, doesn't touch that "Solid Eye" can of worms.
