If your loved one was kidnapped, what would you do? Call the cops? Go on a manhunt? Change your lacey dress multiple times? Well, if your name's Alice and you live in 19th century London, that's exactly what you'd do, according to the upcoming Nintendo DS game Londonian Gothics. Searching for her father in the labyrinths beneath the city, Alice fights a series of monsters with her magical duds. When you kick monster ass, threads and dress designs appear, so that the heroine clotheshorse can get more frocks. The game claims to offer players more than 20 magical outfits. Yippie.

The game will be released on Oct. 13 in Japan. According to the website, the game falls into the "Goth Lolita Action RPG" genre and not the "Game Played By Freaky Depressed Dudes" genre. Good to know.
