With Microsoft aiming to make Perfect Dark Zero the Halo of the 360 launch, it's no surprise that Rare is under tremendous pressure to finish the game on time. As a result of the rush to release, Rare has cut some of the meaty features they'd planned.
The trims include paring the online particpants from 50 people down to 32. DataDyne TV mode has been removed. DataDyne TV was one of the more interesting features PD0 was supposed to bring to Xbox Live. The mode allowed players to watch games and upload personal favorite matches to the Live community so other players could view them. Rare said both could be added back in at a later date as downloadable content.
