Games Industry has a press release up that asks and vaguely answers 'What is Origen?.' The Origen viral ploy is one we've been watching closely and tomorrow the countdown on the site reaches zero.

From the release: "Origen is? The debut of next generation gaming. A real place dedicated to gaming pleasures. A place to play Xbox 360 before anyone else. A place to play all the Xbox 360 launch titles. A place to take on other gamers."

So, after all of this Origen is just a giant LAN center? That's what it sounds like now. Let's hope this is just more viral spin and the real announcement is Halo 3.
