Right outside the TGS, there's a fenced off section for cosplayers. Folks stand in line to photograph and outright stare at women wearing simply anime/game inspired costumes. Myself included.
KOTAKU: "Did you wear that costume here today?"
CHUN-LI: "What do you mean?"
KOTAKU: "LIke on the train..."
CHUN-LI: "Oh no, I came here in regular clothes."
KOTAKU: "Really? Where did you change?"
CHUN-LI: "Over there."
KOTAKU: "In the toilet?"
CHUN-LI: "No, no. There's a special dressing room for us."
Why of course! There's no way in hell these folks would wear these duds on a cross town bus. Imagine the shame.
