Tonight, I got back from an interview with Okamoto, who was promoting his new boardgame-like 360 title. My seat was right next to the Xbox 360 they were using to power the machine. So, I touched it and took a picture. It felt warm. There was a fan connected to the top, which kept the unit cool. A Microsofty was within earshoot, so I asked:
"Why is the machine so hot?"
"It's old."
"Is it a prototype?"
"Not even that. It's probably a zero generation prototype."
"Sure works well for such an early prototype."
The Finnish dude sitting next to me pointed out what the 360 was connected to — a powersource the size of a brick.
Certainly hope this is a prototype, because I feel sick just thinking about the electricity bill.
