Instead of publishing mature titles under the Blitz umbrella (where you can find such kid-friendly titles as Bratz and Nickelodeon's Fairly Odd Parents), the company has created an off-shoot to publish its mature-themed titles, Volatile Games.
Games Industry reports that Blitz Games CEO Phillip Oliver said in forming the new label Volatile, "We are able to develop the more mature themed titles whilst maintaining the integrity of the Blitz brand for family oriented games."
This way parents won't get confused when they see the giant zombie on the box cover and then see the Blitz Games label and think "Oh look, a kids game." Helpful, huh?
