Earlier today, we linked a Wired feature about the rise of the novel from the video game. Coincidentally over at The Guardian's Gamesblog, scribe Aleks Krotoski wrote about the converse books that could become suitable next-gen video games. Krotoski says:
There are - quite literally - millions of truly amazing characters out there just waiting to be put on the next generation of games consoles, the great majority of whom do things that can be put into a game.
I'm a little disappointed that A Tale of Two Cities didn't make his list. It's built for gaming, it has a wide cast of characters, two-faced betrayals and dramatic killings, just toss in some teen angst and a Nobuo Uematsu score and make it Final Fantasy XIV.
