When is a mod no longer a mod? When it turns Halo for the PC into an online shooter set in the lands of Hyrule and staring Link. The Legend of Zelda Online Ocarina of Time, started its life as a simple map mod that would let Master Chief run around in beautifully crafted versions of the Ocarina of Time maps. The next step was to add Hyrule characters to the mix. Then the group decided they had to change the weapons up, because you can't have Link running around with an assault rifle. Before they knew it, these talented modders had created what is in essence a new game.

With a completely new weapon system and combat system, this game is no longer Halo. The characters have their own custom animations, all the weapons have unique and equally useful properties. Vehicular combat will also be supported involving horse fighting by land and flying on an owl through the sky all throughout the various lands of Hyrule. Also, many different horse types will have their own unique abilities such as one allowing passengers or another allowing more than just 1 weapon to be used.
