Universal has purchased the rights to God of War. The crappy, I mean movie version of the game will be produced by Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. No word yet on the cast or director, but I figure you don't really need those for video game movies anyway. Just hire whoever happens to be walking by once you're ready to film.
