Master Chiefs invaded Hollywood Monday, carrying scripts for Halo the movie to a clutch of studios. The MC messengers actually waited around on the uncomfortable couches of the various studios while the scripts were read and a bid prepared and then took the material back to the mother ship. Rumor has it that the script alone, which was written by Alex Garland and will be produced by Peter Schlessel, could go for $4 million. Apparently Microsoft's excessive demands have already turned off New Line, Paramount, DreamWorks and Disney, leaving only Universal to cough up the dough. Microsoft hard to work with, who would have thunk it?
