A state in Japan is banning the sale or rental of Grand Theft Auto III to minors, saying that the open-ended shooter is harmful and capable of inciting violence. The ban comes 350,000 copies into the game's release which makes it sort of useless. Because of the decision the game will be slapped with a "harmful" label, which should do a good job of boosting flagging sales of the game.
