Mobile Playa has an interview with Namco GM Scott Rubin, who leaks loose that a mobile version of the hit game Katamari Damacy is coming to mobile phones. Rubin is quoted as saying to expect a 3D version of the game to show up in Asia by year's end. But for what platform, he does not say (it's possible it could be an NTT or AU phone, which wouldn't guarantee we'd get the same version).

That said, Katamari Damacy is a sure-fire hit for phones, so even with the variety of platform-specific versions mobile gaming tends to engender, I'd expect most capable phones to have a version by 2006.
