The Sopranos is joining a growing list of mob stories being turned into video games. CNN/Money reports that THQ will probably make the formal announcement at E3 next week.

They get their info from Banc of America analyst Gary Cooper, who also predicted that Take-Two Interactive would unveil a third installment in their Max Payne series. Cooper also names the super-secret Neversoft project, Gun, which will be a Wild-West, first-person shooter. Alas, it probably won't appear at E3.

The Sopranos joins Scarface and The Godfather in what is shaping up to be a very gangsta year.
