The DS and Revolution will connect wirelessly, according to Game Watch. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told the Japanese website that the company's next-gen console will be WiFi capable, and will use that feature to link up with the DS. Iwata added that the DS will soon be able to connect to the Internet via a standard WiFi router. He also mentioned that Nintendo is studying ways to allow players from around the world to connect to one another for DS gameplay. On the negative side, Iwata told Game Watch that some online play (apparently, it will be an option for third party developers) will incur a monthly fee.
