There are just way too many things out there that I want to buy, but know I will never use. Take, for instance, this lovely Pac-Man hat. I can t think of a single occasion, formal or informal, that would in anyway be enhanced with the use of a Pac-Man hat, but I still want it. I know if I bought it, I d probably put it on once and chase my dogs around the house saying Waka Waka Waka, and that the whole affair would likely end with me laying on the floor making Pac-Man death noises while my wife looked on in unmasked condescension. But that doesn t in anyway dissuade me. I ve got issues.
