Last month's trivia scavenger hunt was such a tremendous success I've decided to make it a semi-regular feature. I hope to be able to offer up at least one tremendous prize package a month to the winner of the hunt. Last month the prize was a Nokia N-Gage QD and a copy of a game.
This month I'll be giving away a mega Logitech pack. The pack includes a Logitech Media Keyboard, the high-end Logitech MX510 optical mouse and a Logitech Play Link. For those of you not in the know, the Play link can be used with your PS2, Xbox or PC to connect your system or console up to your broadband without wires. It rocks. All of these items have been used once, when I reviewed them, but are otherwise in perfect condition and in their boxes. The MSR on this package is a whopping: $180!
So what do I have to do to win this payola, you might ask? Don't worry no fluids have to be exchanged, all you have to do is read the question below, search Kotaku using our faithful search engine and find the answer within our web pages. The news item with the answer will have the next clue at the bottom in italics. The final clue, number eight to be exact, will be a question about the sport of Fencing.
To be entered in the contest send an email to Editor@Kotaku.com with the word Contest in the subject line followed by the final answer. So your subject line would be: Contest XXX with the Xs being the correct answer to the final Fencing trivia question. In the message body put the headlines to all of the correct news stories that lead you to the final question.
Keep in mind that ALL of the questions, except the final one, must be found within Kotaku
s webpages. The final one can be answered with Google, your friendly neighborhood encyclopedia or a sport buff.
I know this might be a bit tricky, especially question number four, but you are playing for a whole lotta loot.
One entry per a household please and no sharing answers. The contest will run through March 31. I ll randomly draw a winner from the people who answer the question properly. I ll announce the winner on April 1 no kidding.
So to kick things off, here s clue number one: What game-related event made hell freeze over?
