
This summer Paris is hosting the Electronic Sports World Cup 2005. The competition will pit gamers from around the world against each other in six different games. The competition will give out a total of $300,000 in prize money. The games included this year are Counter-Strike, Warcraft III, Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Unreal Tournament 2004, Quake 3 Arena and Gran Turismo 4. Qualifying rounds will be held in 50 countries between February and June. The event will run from July 6 through July 10.
