In the category of I didn t see that coming, Penny Arcade has officially revoked their 2004 Game of the Year award from World of Warcraft. The move comes as the game continued to be plagued by server outages and glitches.
I'm putting aside issues like class balance or Gamemaster abuse, because honestly those things are only a problem when the fucking server is up. They will no doubt be very interesting topics eventually, but it's actually four and five times a week at this point that I can't even log in to the game.
While I haven t run into any server outages yet, I did fall right through a ship in the middle of the ocean and had to doggy-paddle back to shore that was fun.
