The former head of Sega OziSoft has been linked to Kazaa in the mammoth federal trial going on against the file-sharing program in Australia. The feds claim that Kevin Bermeister was the central man behind Kazaa, but he claims he had nothing to do with management and just wanted to use the software to legally distribute music. Bermeister left the Australian gaming business after trying to create a Sega World theme park. Now he runs Brilliant Digital Entertainment—that, and Kazaa.
