Some development friends of mine are hearing that the Xbox 2 won t make a Consumer Electronics Show premier after all. Despite rumors that Gates will unveil the next-gen Xbox during his keynote at the annual show, the latest gossip is that the unveiling is more likely to come at the Game Developers Conference in March. I doubt this will have any real impact on the Xbox 2 s launch, it just gives Microsoft more time to come up with a hot d but. I have a call in to the Xbox people, but no word yet.
