GameSpot humbly presents to you, with tasteful synth rock fanfare, a short interview with Doug Pearson, Activision's producer for the Call of Duty expansion pack, United Offensive. Doug gives a very coherent description about what's included in the game, but also totally namedrops the Lend-Lease Program in a shameless attempt at garnering WWII historian street cred.
The interview touches on the three campaigns that are covered in the pack's 13 single player missions: Americans at the Battle of the Bulge, the British invasion of Sicily, and Russians at Kursk. Also mentioned are some new heavy weapons as well as vehicles, which will also figure into the pack's three multiplayer modes.
But really, enough reading! New gameplay footage, which is interspersed throughout the interview, is also available at the link. Looking good, Doug.
